This little charcoal-coloured chap is a lava imp. A rare and precious fairy, which lives in some of the
deepest and hottest underground caves, eating molten rock (apparently it taste like toffee). When removed
from his natural environment, he rapidly cools down and no-longer glows a bright red. Far from being cruel,
this seemed to be quite a relief to the little fellow who sat happily on my hand squeeking!
