Boxes made from Junk

These boxes can be used to hold jewellry or any speciall items you need to look after. They are easy to make, from old cardboard and papier mache, and when painted look great. A flat lid is a perfect canvas for a little piece of art:

I painted the eagle first, which was harder as the box is more textured. It has a cool, antique book cover effect which doesn't really pick up in the photo. The little sun moon box holds a small man-in-the-moon sculpture I made, which fits perfectly inside!

These incense holders are made from cardboard and papier mache.
They are bright, colourful and suprisingly tough and heavy!
